The Men’s Park

The curatorial theme found out that in the area for the exhibition (Ørestad) there was an overwhelming amount of male artist’s represented through very big public sculptures. Kajsa Karlsson was interested in this conscious choice to discuss men, masculinity and their creative attempts. She organised an art walk where we talked about what it means to be a male artist. We speculated about their struggles with masculinity and Kajsa had done some research on their relationships with women or lack thereof. The park was also renamed to “The men’s park” and a gross tasting cake was served.
